Paola

Paola is the Youth Council's Chief Financial Officer. She is responsible for developing a budgeting and financial management process for the council. Paola is an alumna of the 2017 class of Youth in Action, where she learned to develop and implement a project aimed at combating a social or an environmental issue she identified in her community. Her project team proposed a project that promoted awareness about matters related to discrimination in the LGBT+ community. She applied for the Youth Council program so she could develop more advanced skills in project management and community advocacy. Paola has grown as a professional and believes she can bring relevant experience to the council. Paola is determined woman who does not allow obstacles or barriers to hinder her from accomplishing her goals. When she is given a problem, she does not focus on the difficulty of the challenge. She focuses on achieving the solution.
