Enrique is a member of the Youth Council's finance team. He is a research assistant with the Center for Research and Teaching in Economics in Mexico City. He is an alumnus of the 2017 Model United Nations Summer Exchange program. Enrique used what he learned during the experience to improve the program at his high school. He has also developed an affinity for international relations and practices the negotiation and debate skills that made him successful in the program. As a result of Enrique's leadership, the program has been expanded in his city. 

Enrique believes there is a way of constructing a better nation from the bottom up. He is an advocate for developing grassroots approaches to community development and societal improvement. He is a determined and courageous leader who loves his country and his people. He wants to learn new skills and create new approaches to creating more resilient communities that will eradicate  violence, specifically the violence that targets LGBT+ people.
